When Grey Source development began in November 2019 with build 1911, Phoenix needed a game to use it with and show off what it's capable of.
The third release of Half-Life Classic (2020). Since this is a full version, installing a previous version is not needed.
This is Half-Life Classic 1.1. This requires Half-Life Classic 1.0 to work.

Why would you force an autojump feature to a mod that is supposed to bring back classic features? If you didn't yet implement a console feature to disable it, just don't add this feature at all. Also seems like the diagonal movement speed is way slower than usual which makes moving around feel awful.
I appreciate the effort but in its current state the mod isn't all that usable.

Has texture filtering not always been an option for HL1? Can it at least be optional here?
So... any reason I should try this as opposed to just, HL WON, easily obtainable on the Internet? Not to mention some changes I'm seeing are definitely not like the original. I don't remember fullbright maps being a part of the experience.
more up to date and why not

The Steam version of Half-Life has more compatibility for some people and supports widescreen resolutions, even 4K, which the WON version doesn't. We created this mod for the convenience of having old features on the Steam version.
I'm not sure where you're seeing Fullbright maps. We have assured that the maps are the original.
4K monitors is hardly the 1998 experience...
Are you playing on a Windows XP computer?? Quit complaining and enjoy half-life.
