Read your comment again twice. Still can't find any sarcasm in it. Also, "zealous fans" have nothing to do with that if you can't into sarcastic jokes properly (IMHO, i don't think that stating obvious, uncovered things could be considered as sarcasm. Maybe it is just me). But since your first argument was about such "zealous" fans anyway, then it already explains much for me.

I quite like how PF has a bit of an early Empire of the Rising Sun feel, although their aesthetics are more aligned with RA2. In this timeline, they still invested heavily on mechs (Tsurugi-Tengu), robotics (Hunter-Seeker Drone-Burst Drone), power suits (Norio-Rocket Angels) and amphibious assault units (Kappa-Tsunami).
Because,they are the Empire of the Rising Sun,only as a member of the Allied Nations.Which sounds like a good twist to me. ;)
