In 2001, 3D Realms released the original specifications from the planned sequel to Wolfenstein 3D. In 2015, Thandor created a mod for Wolf3D that was intended to bring the Wolf3D sequel to life. In 2023, two prototypes of Rise of the Triad were released online, thanks to which Thandor and I began cooperation to bring Rise of the Triad: Wolfenstein 3D Part II to life.
Please download the corrected EXE file. It improves the speed of the game, which affects the gameplay experience. Improved file thanks to KS-Presto from DieHard Wolfers. Thank you very much!
The ceiling in the first two levels was also changed. There are no stars moving with the player walking.

Today we will deal with the fifth enemy, the Blitzguard, and I will briefly describe the color palette change.
Demo available now on ModDb! The adventures of BJ Blazkowicz continue.
I look forward to it!
Thank you very much! We hope that you will be satisfied with the final product of our work.

wolf 3d part of rott mod? so an actual mod for wolf 3d sequel. about time since gzdoom version was unfinished.
The gzdoom version was actually very good. Too bad there are no maps. I played this version and it's fun. It was fun to play.
And we want to make a sequel based primarily on the original Wolfenstein 3D.
will it have all features described on the 3D Realms page? even the weapons and bosses?
The bosses will be as they were planned in the original from 3D Realms. But they won't shoot like they described. It's just the DOS version. She has memory limitations. Now, after adding shadows, additional enemies, keys, doors opening from the inside, additional walls and 64x128 maps, it will probably not be possible to add such options. The same goes for weapons. Memory is limited.
We hope this won't discourage you or other players from playing our game.

okay but why use DOS and not SDL or EC instead?
Why DOS version? Thandor made its previous version on DOS. When we started working together, we based the project on its modification, because a lot of things had already been done. On SDL or EC we would have to do everything from scratch. Of course, if someone wants to transfer our mod to SDL or EC after the premiere, there is no problem.
Is there any information on when the mod will be released?
And "shareware" demo version ;)
I didn't find this shareware demo, am I missing something?
We haven't released this version yet. At the end of April/beginning of May, I will release a shareware demo version.
Maps are currently being worked on. I think we will release it in summer 2024.
