Einstein tile textures Thread - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Hobbyist Finds Math’s Elusive ‘Einstein’ Tile: The surprisingly simple tile is the first single, connected tile that can fill the entire plane in a pattern that never repeats — and can’t be made to fill it in a repeating way - a single tile whose copies can fill the entire plane, but only in patterns that don’t consist of a repeating block of tiles.

Using these tiles as a template, modders would be able to avoid the repeated lines of tiles that extend to the horizon when creating surface textures and vegetation.
