"War... War never changes. The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element. This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium. The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future. It is the Dawn of the Tiberian future." --- Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1;to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3;implemented in the series as gameplay features. This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of...

I just had the same problem. I fixed it by letting NoScript allow some components.
this mod is of awesome quality. I'd suggest however to tune it down a bit on the frequency and volume of infantry death screams and remove them from vehicles altogether (as it was in the original game). I know these high-pitched screams are important for nostalgia and stuff, but it gets quite annoying.

Done.
I want to hear voices, just not that loud. But if you others don't see a problem, I'll resort to that method.
They just seem to be excessively loud in this video...
Sweet baby Jesus with a crackpipe, it's awesome!
Well, the concept is, at least, anyhow, it still needs some work on the acoustic side of things.
Explosion/weapon sounds are still C&C3;, right? Because if nothing else, they feel rather tame and quiet altogether, and especially with the infantry around.
Also, any considerations to upping the construction range? It may have been the map being awfully tight, but it just looked to me like it was just a bit tight, especially at the airstrip.
Then again, they don't have to be physically touching each other, so there's that. *yay*
good.
Im hyped!
Nice!
When this gets released, there will be no point in playing the vanilla game anymore :D this is gold!
Even if it is still in an unfinished state: It looks awesome already. :)
I've got some suggestions regarding the music:
For non-combat music, you could use the more calm TD-tracks like "C&C Thang", "Canyon Run" etc.
For combat music, you could use the more heavy and dramatic TD-tracks like "In the Line of Fire", "March to Doom", "No Mercy" etc.
For Nod's victory track, maybe an excerpt from "Stop them Now" (like in the cutscene in which GDI's logo gets destroyed) would fit well.
I don't have any idea for GDI's victory theme though.
What do you think?
In my opinion i think the Obelisk might be firing too fast, other than that, it looks fantastic, and i can't wait to play it.
Obelisks fire every 15 seconds in the original but all vehicles moved a lot slower too.
ModDB has serious playback issues it seems. Video froze but audio continues.
Don't walk your infantry over all that tiberium! Aghhh! :(
awesome, cant wait!
