The Allies and the Soviets have rearmed with new weapons of war, each poised to destroy the other. Two ideological opponents, eight world powers - only one world to command and conquer.
-- New building: Quantum Lab. Available on T2, and provides the Quantum Leap ability, which no longer requires the Intel Complex. This means a player can go for the ability earlier in the game if they wish, allowing them to take control of distant areas of the map quicker. The price of Quantum Leap has also been lowered at the expense of slower recharge time.
-- Crackdown, available at the Intel Complex. Equips friendly GIs with riot equipment, turning them into Assault GIs. These infantry are heavily armoured and armed, with a combat shotgun great at shredding groups of infantry and light vehicles as well as a flashbang grenade launcher, which stuns infantry, preventing them from firing for 3 seconds.
"Crackdown" support power that makes riot police for stomping out dissent, called "Euro Reich" in the files... Are we the baddies?
