Welcome to Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith Remastered! This mod takes new Engines like JKGFXMOD & the Openjkdf2 engines and adds updated Textures and models to effectively make the game remastered!
In the 3.0 version we have the OpenJKDF2 Engine, the Mysteries of the Sith Neural Upscale Texture Pack, the Jedi Knight Neural Upscale Texture Pack and the Enhancement mod, Vurt's JK-DF2 Extreme Definition Texture Pack Version 1.1b, HD Switches Textures, the Enhancement Mod for JkGfxMod (MotS Edition) 0.50 which is now a modified version of it that has been renamed to JKMRemasteredAssets.goo. In-game Cutscenes mod, New Music and New HD Sounds! Some of these can be downloaded and installed separately but mainly this release has actually brought a lot of new assets to the game!
OpenJKDF2 is a function-by-function reimplementation of DF2 in C, with 64-bit ports to Windows 7+, macOS 10.15+, and Linux. Files are organized as closely to the original game as possible, based on symbols from the Grim Fandango Remaster Android/Linux/macOS port, as well as scattered assertions from various other games. It also contains the original versions of byacc and flex used for COG script parsing.

This is a replacement texture pack for Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith. These textures were upscaled using ESRGAN and a custom model. EMSITH - Enhancement Mod for JkGfxMod (MotS Edition) 0.50 [FINAL FGR VERSION]
We have used this Enhancement mod as a base for this mod and have changed the name of the main file from EnhancementAddon.goo to JKMRemasteredAssets.goo. We have added Several new models to it from Rebel Commander, Rebel office, Rebel Solider & Officer Dead variants, Updated Kyle & Mara Jade Models & models related to cutscenes and new Lightsaber hilt models.

JkGfxMod streams materials from storage as they are needed. This may cause some stuttering, especially if JkGfxMod materials are installed on a slow hard disk. This can be corrected by adding a vram_texture_preload_size
entry to the configuration file.

The Mod is now at a whole new level of amazement! Thanks to huge help from Fastgamerr we finally were able to get the in-game Cutscenes mod implemented and working! Here is an early test footage of what we first got once the cutscene mod actually worked in-game:
As you can see from there Fastgamerr and I looked into what was needed to get the characters to stop changing to the old models during the cutscenes. It turns out each part of the cutscenes where the models changed was because the cutscene was actually using a different model for that part. After we figured out which model 3do files were in what scene Fastgamerr worked his magic and was able to get the models updated! We now have the results below in the screenshot!
So we have effectively remastered the Cutscenes! Upgraded Mara and Kyle models and were even able to add the Lightsaber Hilts! Which reminds me! I believe this is the first time Mara Jade actually has the right Lightsaber Hilt since in the original game the lightsaber is just a generic handle there is no detail on it at all. It is truly an awesome hilt and thanks to Fastgamerr we were able to get this Lightsaber hilt from jkHub, believe or not from a mod for Jedi Academy by Plasma Lightsaber Hilt Collection 1.9
I suppose it is not too hard to believe! The Game looks so much better it does effectively look like it is Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy now! Thanks to the implementation of openJKDF2 in this version we now have the awesome in-game configurations options for JKM now too!
We were also able to use AI Enhancer krea.ai and photoshop to Enhance the Game Menu images!

I'm having a weird issue I can't figure out. Whenever I boot into the game, the controls, sound, and everything works, however the video is very dark and doesn't move at all, as if the first frame of the game's stuck, but I can still move and everything. Is this a known bug and how can I fix this?

Unfortunately specific crash remains with version 2.0 at the end of level 8 and with the electric corridor of level 9 (Could electrical effects be the cause ?)
It seems that we are obliged with MOTS to not increase the FOV. This is an old problem that I found on 2, 3 other sites. So in jkgm.son, stay with "command": "JKMR-NoFov.exe"
im having some weird performance problems, ive tried various settings but cant make it run smooth. any ideas?
yeah you need to download RivaTuner Statistics Server and restrict it to 40 Frames. Since the game is so old even though the Graphics are better the old engine cant keep up with the Frame rate. I address this in this video here: Youtu.be I show you from JK remastered but same principle for MOTS.
