Mapping on that crazy horse logo is a bit bugged there, its cut off and the logo pokes in from the left!
Apart from that though, the cars are looking really nice and crispy. Glad you were able to get that transparency sorted, that's a common issue I've seen people struggle with in other upscaling projects. I'm also very glad you are putting effort into optimizing and balancing traffic density/spawns/despawns.
Wow! I'm very impressed with the results. I was worried the faces would have that "uncanny" look to them, but they look super authentic to the original textures.
Upscaling programs have made a lot of progress over the last few years, I look forward to seeing the final fruits of your labour! This game deserves the love.
It's like picking between taking the elevator or taking the stairs! I like being able to choose, as long as its clear to the player that the long way is optional. I think a lot of people will likely take the long way the first time through to explore and just take the quick route on any subsequent playthroughs.
Diaper mode would be a great setting in the options menu in the future!
I'm very happy to see the project continue to thrive!
Oooo, reminds me of the cliffs in a New Hope!
Finally!! I've been waiting for someone to fix up the character textures with upscaling but without texture warping. I hope the clothes get the same touched up facelift too!
"A truck!? What truck?"
Awww you cut the pony tail!! Sellout!
I still remember contributing a few textures to this mod a looong time ago! It was the first time I'd ever "officially" contributed to a game/mod. I'm glad to say it wasn't my last time! I might give this game another go for old times sake.
Only other thing I hope has been adjusted is the historical footage in the intro, its a little distasteful.
Inquisitor Toth lookin like a badass!!! All of them fit so well and the style is very consistent! :D
I'm always excited to see unofficial patches for games, giving them that extra bit of love and polish they deserve!
And this game really deserves this kind of love, I'll replay the game with this installed and keep my eye out for any other fixable texture/model errors. And if I find any I'll be sure to report them so this patch can be the best it can be!
Through all the trials and tribulations of your developing a project like this, I'm glad you've been able to release what you have! Thank you for the update and best of luck in your future endeavors, whatever they may be!
Thank you, this mod definitely helps immersion. Imho this mod is essential!
I've always been particularly nostalgic for the first campaign for Dawn of War. I'm very happy to see it given the love it deserves. I highly look forward to seeing how Inquisitor Toth looks as well!
Lookin sharp there soldier
So crisp and clear, this kind of improvement should be officially included as a sound option in these redux versions!
When its eventually finished I hope this project can get on steam!
Great character selection! I think I can recognize a few faces in there ;)
I love this! He's so cute!!!! I would love to see this polygonal version of him ported into the source games he appears in like l4d2.
I'm really looking forward to big update!
I love seeing the original character models keeping the original style like that but higher resolution. I hope the wall chargers get the same treatment!
You've been making great progress so far, take as long as you need for those "reasons"! ;)
Thank you very much for the update, I'm sure 1.4 will be great. Best of luck with your current project!
So far this is shaping up to be the most comprehensive texture and shading overhaul I've ever seen for Doom 3. I'm really looking forward to giving it a whirl soon!
Ohohohohoo! I love your level work, these touch ups are appreciated
