Experience the consequences of the resonance cascade scenario once again, and play as one of Hazardous Environments Combat Unit marines, Steven Mills. You are not a survivor, you are sent on a mission. Secure Black Mesa Research Facility with the rest of your squad and eliminate any hostile forces. This mod is not a recreation of any existing mods. We will try to stick to the canon of the Half Life universe as much as we can and make everything believable. You will experience Black Mesa disaster from a perspective of the villains and even see Gordon Freeman in person. *******OUTDATED VERSION******* The first version of my mod is released. It covers the first three chapters of the upcoming full release. The following playable chapters are: Arrival, Dangerous Facility and Heavy Fire. Next part will cover another three chapters. I hope you will enjoy my work. Have fun!
Great to see a bit of a demo tease before the full release! c:
I didn't polish it enough because of it so I fear that people may lynch me for it not being perfect. I hope it will be well received though.
I see Q from Street Fighter in the bottom left corner on the rock
Never played those games :P So if you see something like that, then it must be a pure coincidence.
Won't come on. The bat files just opens and closes and I followed every instruction and troubleshot everything I could think.
This is an awesome project porting basically Opposing Force to a newer engine, but also telling a new story, with new locations, and it really breathes new life into the perspective of the Marines during the Black Mesa incident, with the objective of cleaning up after the resonance cascade, not only does it make use of the squad system valve created, but actively uses it for the squad based portions at the beginning of the game before everyone is scattered and fighting for survival. Not to mention seeing Freeman run down the hall and into the blast door, and then to go back and remember playing through that in Half-Life and making it all the more enjoyable, but if this is only a demo/Beta, then I can't wait to see the full game/mod.
