The first three StarCraft campaigns remade to be much more challenging and with 3 player coop support, balanced to make the AI a thougher opponent that won't be beaten easily. All maps have been changed more or less to make space and sense for 3 players, as well as for better enemy bases, while staying true to the design and feel of the original map.

Description

This is the solo version of the 3 player coop campaign

Honestly, I kinda forgot about the solo version campaigns. And yes, I'm going make a solo version for episodes 5,6 and the Precursor campaign soon.

I want to give it a shot but I think this solo mode isn't fair at all compared to co-op. First of all, of course you need to solo control all bases which makes it harder but that's not the main disadvantage I'm talking about.
On co-op you have 3 players where each player can amass 200 limit and in total it makes 600 units. Could've been nice if there was mod so you can make more than 200 units, ideally set to 600 limit - this will equalize solo mode. Personally, I don't think it's that hard of a thing to implement, if you don't wanna bother/don't know modding maybe someone on SEN can help you to achieve this.

I don't know why you would comment this without trying the maps first, but these two things arent really an issue. I balanced my maps to feel challenging, but not unfair. Remember, you're only playing againist AI, which dont make anywhere even near a 200 supply army to attack you and neither will you have to. I dont remember if I ever even hit 200 supply while playtesting. Having 600 supply would be unfair for the enemy AIs.

And the controlling all three bases thing isnt that bad either. Well, maybe ordering scvs to mine from 3 different ccs can sound tedious, you could probably get used to it. Its a lot like injecting your hatcheries in sc2. Also, as a solo player, you only have to build a single tech structure to unlock tech and upgrades, while 3 players would all have to build an academy each to get stimpacks, which gives you a decent economy boost compared to the 3 player version. Its also easier to keep all of your army together. If you're a halfdecent player with an average of 100 apm like me you won't have too much trouble beating most these maps. These maps were primarily balanced through solo play.

If those things are really whats stopping you from playing these maps, I think you should just give them a try and see if you like it.

Excuse me for my ignorance. I consider myself a decent player and like challenges, I wasn't complaining about it being difficult & tedious but simply thought that it was unfair at first but didn't pay attention that you balanced maps for solo play. I only opened one of the maps and after seeing Insane AI I was alarmed that this was going to be tough (remember that Insane Solo Edition which never had any testing, every AI was set to Insane and some missions were simply impossible?) and unfair compared to co-op.
I will play it 100% and wishing good luck with 6th final episode!

This is great, thank you for this! Any chance you’ll do the same « solo » conversion for the 3-players coop campaign of Starcraft 2 ? Thanks!

No, I wont do this for the 3 player mod of SC2 because:
1)They were not made by me
2)You can already play those maps solo. Im pretty sure those maps will detect how many players are in the match and split units to other players accordingly. They dont need a separate version for solo play.
