Welcome back. Kill... your future depends on it. Eli Vance has to be found. I wonder why the adminstrator wants him.
The first level is the worse by far, the setpiece of you having to escape an unending respawning wave of enemies may sound like a good idea and it is when you know whats going on but it dosnt play well as a first time player, also that dead end room with a shotgun is not nice, it got a lot better once i beated that area (nocliped away at the fourt attemp, when i replayed it knowing whats going on it plays nicely)
I liked the architecture of the levels but i was confused with the infinite respawning grunts that sometimes happens. overall nice but hard mod, nice animated scenes like the truck crash and some nice mapping tricks like water reflection on the ground by duplicating the map upside down beneath the floor covered with a glass ( Imgur.com ) had a good laugh with the instakills from scenes like the falling vent or door explosions. 8/10 the infinite respawning grunts are kind of ****** if you dont expect them, like i had to see them materialize from thin air to know what was going on and i felt kind of scammed
I tried something I learned a few months back when the mouse in Opposing Force was acting up, pulling the mouse back to a position when I tried to
move it in a big arc. I set the mouse to use raw mouse input, and the keys started working, I could move. So I tried it again, and it did not work.
When it did work, it was at the end of the opening scene with the heli-
copter, just before the camera switched from panning to being on the ground.
I've never seen this happen in a mod before.
I downloaded and ran the mod, but the settings have no key bindings...????, and the wsad, etc keys do nothing...
I copied the half-life\Valve\config.cfg into the mod directory,
and restarted Steam, but the key bindings still do not show up.
Here is some gameplay from this mod, feel free to use the footage for whatever!
This mod felt very alive, each other there is either teleporting aliens, aliens fighting grunts, or bombing runs… its very like Black Mesa has seen better days. And I like this area the most of Black Mesa because it looks like a separate facility, only in the beginning do we see a place we vaguely visited in Half-Life. Alot of people will remember it even though it was in the day, it was the first time we as Gordon Freeman stepped foot outside into the harsh sun.
Yes these 3 maps are really good and surprisingly big, I found myself constantly appreciating each area for its visual appeal. I however also found the mod not as hard I would like but you can’t always have everything.
The enemies are well placed and some areas have a insta kill which is slightly annoying like how when the vent breaks and you fall down with it, if you kept crouching forward it would crush you in half… or in the beginning when you don’t go up into the vents the grunts will stand behind the corner waiting for you and then blowing you up with ARgrenades.
Theres a gargantua sequence that was rather easy with no chase triggering for me
These faults are minor, the set pieces provide the focal point of the mod, there is a helicopter sequence that requires some thinking on how to blow it up and get into the other building, theres a dirty sniper that caught me off guard in a area…
Theres no assassins and the mod in the end could have been longer but what we got I’m glad I played.
8/10
this mod is useless everytime i go into the options to customize the controls it's just blank. All i can do is look around cant move can't even jump or crouch.
Play it using Xash3D engine, build 2015 is recommended. There should be no problems with gameplay and configs.

The config.cfg for the mod is probably incomplete or something. Try replacing the config.cfg file that's in the mod directory with the one that is in your Half-Life directory. I had the same problem with Survive in Catacombs, and that's how I fixed it.
me too. can someone help us with that!!!!!!
blank = 1.5 modification only. This can be fixed by copy paste valve's default one or removing the following folder <mod>/gfx/shell and/or the file in the shell folder kb_act.lst
