Nazi Zombies Overhaul

"The nature of this mod is not meant to be vanilla styled, and as such many gameplay changes have been altered to provide a fresh experience to the Nazi Zombie gamemode alongside features from Der Riese and Black Ops One implemented into earlier maps to provide more consistent gameplay."


Features:

  • Rebalancing
    • Reworked amount of zombies, and exponentially increased the amount of zombies earlier on.
    • Tweaked exponential zombie HP increase. HP scales with what is available to the player per map basis.
    • Zombies take longer to ramp-up in speeds, all the way up to Verruckt sprinters appearing late-game.
    • Re-worked difficulty over time area for zombie spawn rates for more tower defense styled gameplay.
    • Zombies take longer to break down barriers. Difficulty ramps-up if all windows are not boarded. Added carpenter drop to all four maps.
    • Re-balanced zombie hit animations and speed, depending if they are walking, running or sprinting. Removed all animations where zombies can combo or insta swipe at an unreasonable rate.
    • Camping down an area is now more challenging as the map is entirely open late-game. Opening the Help door on Nacht Der Untoten is not possible, with zombies being able to open it late-game. Turning on the power will also result in all barriers opening in the map.
    • Added 3 unique special special zombies per map basis in later rounds.
    • Rebalanced the economy. Players start at 0 points, and earn half their points. Some weapons, perks, have been adjusted to accomodate such change. Box does not give back points when bear is rolled. Powerups upon completion do not give points.
    • Nerfed speed-cola, and juggernog to just give the player an extra edge instead of overpowered upgrades. Reloading has been slowed down to a minor buff and zombies will be able to hit you in 3 hits instead of 2, keeping the player's on their toes.
    • Nacht Der Untoten Zombies are now able to grab at windows.
    • Fixed grabby zombies.
    • Buffed max ammo to fill up entire magazine. Max ammo also gives back molotovs.
    • Buffed Last Stand Timer from 30 seconds to 45 seconds.
    • Ported Der Riese non-instant down feature for all maps.
    • Doubled round intermission time.
  • Weapons
    • All weapons in the game are now utilized.
    • Rebalanced weapons where nerfs or buffs were needed.
    • Starting pistols are now different on all 4 maps.
    • Moved wall-buys or replaced wall-buys around the map for intended difficulty or to make sense of the theme of the map.
    • Weapon balancing is now consistent on all four maps.
    • All weapons now use singleplayer stats (More recoil, damage debuffs to limbs.)
    • Re-worked upgraded weapon stats to make upgrades more sensible.
    • Adjusted ammo counts across the board to give certain weapons an extra edge or slight nerf needed. Fixed reserve ammo in multiple weapons to be divisible by the weapon capacity.
    • Wonder weapon are introduced in shi no numa, with wonderwaffle added in der riese.
    • Traps have been buffed from 25 seconds to 45 seconds.
  • Visuals
    • Randomized character's upon player spawn.
    • Re-worked visuals on all four maps. Improved atmosphere and colour across all maps. Atmosphere changes as the rounds go on.
    • Zombie models and textures have been extended and are now different by map theme. Zombies have a chance to wear helmets and gear. Replaced SS-Honorguard textures in Nacht der Untoten & Verruckt to Waffen-SS field soldiers. Fixed eye glow not appearing in Shi No Numa & Der Riese.
    • Zombies ragdoll on death.
    • Added Black Ops One styled barrier repair shake. Zombie tearing barriers will also slightly shake the screen. Restored dust fx. Fixed barrier animations when buying speed cola. Ported modern zombie tear animations to earlier maps.
    • Added Black Ops One styled weapon bobbing.
    • Added veteran low health effects.
    • Replaced mp weapon textures with higher quality sp textures.
    • Zombies now react in pain during a nuke.
    • Ported Der Riese zombie animations to earlier maps.
    • Restored cut Shi No Numa perk textures.
    • Removed FOV effects from events, fixing FOV resetting.
    • Ported powerup HUD to Nacht Der Untoten.
    • Weapon Visibly lowers in the Box in Nacht Der Untoten.
    • Zombies react to explosions and gunshot wounds.
  • Audio
    • Zombie audio is different per map basis, with sounds ranging from Nacht Der Untoten trailer to Cod ww2 zombies.
    • Fixed zombie audio missing from movement and tear animations.
    • Added generic marine voice overs to Nacht Der Untoten.
    • Added intensifying soundtracks as round progresses.
    • Ported Samantha VOX to Nacht Der Untoten.
  • UI
    • Added themed background per map basis.
    • Setting up LAN & COOP games will force intended map to default.
    • Added FOV slider.
    • Gameplay HUD now disappears during gameover intermission.
    • Improved HUD safezone.
    • Added HD Font.
    • Removed useless objectives screen.
    • Removed unnecessary menu selections.
