So, I'm assuming this still uses legacy DirectPlay controllers, as that would be a major stretch to get Xbox controller support into such an old game. That's fine. I still have a number of legacy controllers and a USB adapter. The real question I have is, does the mod keep XWA's rudder pedal support or does it delete it in favor of the old TIE Fighter system of a button press and fixed roll? I always appreciated that XWA finally added rudder support, and I do have an old set of pedals I can use. Simply wanting to know what to expect.

Thanks.

Hi, thanks to the XWAU project, the game does support modern HOTAS and most game controllers including the Xbox One/360. We have a github repository of different profiles available here: Github.com

But there are often some niggles in setting things up so we recommend you join our Discord server and post in the joysticks and controllers channel further assistance.

Does it still support older DirectPlay controllers? My problem is, I have a lot of surplus controllers that I haven't used in years but are still good, but nothing modern.
