Cockpit UI Scaling? Thread - TIE Fighter: Total Conversion (TFTC) mod for Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance
This mod is a total conversion of the original 1994 game TIE Fighter into X-Wing Alliance. Offering all original 13 campaigns and expansions as well as a completely Reimagined campaign of the first 8 campaigns alongside it. Built upon the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade project, offering fantastic new visuals and even VR support, bringing the game into the modern era.

Hey there! I looked and didn't see any posts about this in the support forum (or any of the forums: I did look). I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is intentional, but when I set my resolution to one with a "1.44" aspect ration (e.g. "5:1900x1080 HUD:1.44" or "3:1600x900 HUD:1.44), the bottommost part of the screen is cut off (see screenshot linked above). If I use "4:1280x1024 HUD:1.80", it fits vertically, but I get bad black-bars and the text is so small it's all but unreadable. I don't have a problem getting 1900x1080 in any of my other games or programs, and I'm pretty sure it's the native res for my monitor. Is there something I can/should be doing that I'm not? I've seen some old steam posts about tweaking the resolution manually in the configuration, but wanted to check with you guys first. Thanks! Edited by: LordTargren |
