Harkov's Tie Advanced Thread - TIE Fighter: Total Conversion (TFTC) mod for Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance

Are Harkovs Tie Advanced supposed to be hyperdrive equipped? Since he acquires them in Battle 2 they chronologically should not be (although he could acquire more of them just between battles 4 and 5...). Anyway, in Reimagined B5M2 they are hypering out of the combat area along with Harkovs fleet; I'm not sure it it's a bug, an omission or design decision . I think it would be fun to have them stranded after their capital ships flee, and a material for some comment from players wingmen whose T/A are hyperspace capable .

(Plus, you guys probably discussed it already, but if Harkovs Tie Advanced are supposed to be early, pre-production models, wouldn't it be fun if they were X1s rather than Avengers later used by Empire and Zaarin? It would show the progress of technology even better, brought variety into game, and made a connection with X-wing (where Empire using X1s between Yawin and Hoth was one of plot points. And brought extra irony of Harkov defecting just as his newest Ties became obsolete (since starfighter development arms race is major theme of Tie Fighter plot).

I feel the same, but if the model isn't in game they can't exactly drop it in the mission.

We need to get Empire at War mod guys and these guys talking.
