Trouble with launch Thread - TIE Fighter: Total Conversion (TFTC) mod for Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance
This mod is a total conversion of the original 1994 game TIE Fighter into X-Wing Alliance. Offering all original 13 campaigns and expansions as well as a completely Reimagined campaign of the first 8 campaigns alongside it. Built upon the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade project, offering fantastic new visuals and even VR support, bringing the game into the modern era.

I followed the installation instructions via the youtube vid. I press play button on the launcher and i get a black screen with a window labeled deviceresources::initialize that has a red x and says the parameter is incorrect. Then i press enter and a new window labeled x-wing alliance that says directdraw init failed at 0 I press enter and it brings me to my desktop... Any idea where i went wrong? |
