This mod is a total conversion of the original 1994 game TIE Fighter into X-Wing Alliance. Offering all original 13 campaigns and expansions as well as a completely Reimagined campaign of the first 8 campaigns alongside it. Built upon the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade project, offering fantastic new visuals and even VR support, bringing the game into the modern era.

GOG version of XWA

TFTC patch 1.2

XWAU 2020 Mega Patch (no v5 update)

100% clean GOG install

Everything installs ok. No errors. Followed the instructions (I think/hope :) )


When I launch the game and go into the mission briefing, it defaults to a training mission and I don't get any option to start a Battle/Tour of Duty. Tried with new pilot, mod default pilot, tried reinstalling a couple times in different directories, ran as Administrator/Non-Administrator, tried both Classic Mode and Re-imagined mode.

Can't start a tour of duty. Either something's buggy with my install or I'm clueless and missing something totally obvious here :)

Update:
Oh, duh ... looks like I have to complete the training missions first. Forgot this was XWA and not native Tie Fighter. :)
