Welcome to Escape from Castle Wolfenstein Redux! Redux is a vanilla-ish LZWolf mod and its goal is to remake Episode 1 with brand new levels and to improve on the level design from 1992. It also improves the look of the game by using some "HD" things.
Features:
• Higher res textures and sprites taken from the mac version.
• Higher res weapons.
• Halo lighting effects.
• Various ceiling and floor textures which include stone, wood, metal, carpets etc.
• Orchestrated music from the original game and improved sound effects.
•Higher ammo capacity and Spear of Destiny ammo boxes.
• Much bigger and action packed maps that are made on a 128x128 grid, double the size ID used on the original maps! Although the full map grid isn't used to prevent too much bloat.
•Much harder difficulty , but fair.
I'm planning on there being a total of 8 maps ( 7 normal + 1 secret) as these levels are quite big.
This mod will stick close to the theme of Episode 1 with a couple of twists here and there.
