Firebase - A Halo Wars Mod Manager
A handy mod manager for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. Supports both Steam and Microsoft Store versions.
To entice newcomers of the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition modding community, I've developed this tool as a means of easily loading mods into one's game. This is not a mod; I just wanted to make a "mod" page for this tool as to keep version files organized. More updates are to come soon.
How To Install
- Download the Firebase.zip file from HERE
- Unzip the package to any directory
- Run the mod manager using "Firebase.exe"

my friend is having an issue where a mod just won't appear in the modlist and we've tried troubleshooting it for an hour to no avail. they installed the modman, put the mod straight into the folder after extracting, created the mod manifest, uninstalled and reinstalled, and went into the game and changed one setting and tried again. it still won't appear. the mod is leader overhaul

hi, they were running windows 11 and downgraded their OS to windows 10 and it works perfectly fine now lmao
Oh really? Did not know Windows 11 had issues with the mod manager.

Did a previous version of the mod manager work? Or is this your first time using it? (working on a hotfix atm for some stuff)
A new release has been uploaded. Feel free to download while I try to create an update package for the older version. Apologies for the delay on things and non-responsiveness. Life has been very...eventful for me for the past two years.
This new build should address a lot of issues. Please let me know if any issues persist.
Edit: An auto-update has now been released for the previous version that will install Firebase for you. It is now not necessary to grab this new version and do a complete reinstall if you already have v2022.1.1.1
For anyone having issues with app data issues/error loading mods. just boot the game up, change any random setting and then the appdata folder should populate and make the mod manager work.
