Punished Munshi, the colonel who trained Agent David on his mission to Monke Island, only has a hazy memory of the mission, which started in a catastrophic plane crash. But when he awakens in a prison cell, accused of being a traitor who sided with the monkeys on the island, he knows something is seriously wrong.

As he investigates the situation, Munshi discovers that he's been set up by a doppelganger, and his reputation and honour have been destroyed. Fuelled by a fierce sense of betrayal and a thirst for revenge, Munshi sets out to clear his name and bring the true traitor to justice.

But Munshi's troubles are far from over. The monkeys on the island have a new leader, a mysterious figure who claims to be Munshi's twin brother. This evil mastermind has a twisted plan to launch a nuclear war that will obliterate humanity and transform the world into a monkey paradise.
