Hello! Heroes of Might and Magic 5.5 UH is a rebalance of Heroes 5.5. This mod has the amazing features added by the author of Frax, as well as full creature, skills and mechanics rebalance. One day I thought It would be fun to play the game with a bigger amount of abilities and to make units more special. I made it come true! For detailed information check article with changes. Welcome! Here is the list of main changes Ultimate Heroes provide in comparision to Heroes 5.5. (Frax) means its a frax feature this mod is based on. (Soon) means that i plan on changing it in near future. Let's begin!

1. TOTAL CREATURE OVERHAUL!

-T7 are now enemies you should respect! No more easy farming! Those monsters can tear apart unaware players.

-Increased meaning of upgrades. You will now struggle a lot if you don't want to invest in upgrades, they are way stronger than their basic versions and they are the ones able to carry you to victory!

-Increased meaning of units and strategy. Units have way more abilities which means that you can't just go anything vs anything, some units counter different ones, so it needs more strategical approach.

-Unexpected synergies. Set the world on fire, make even strongest hearts crumble or buff your whole army using many abilities and spells that are no more restricted to hero only.

-Necropolis and Dungeon growth changes. Wanna Destroy your enemies with hordes of undead? Play Necropolis and prepare yourself to lead more bloodthirsty undead than ever before! Wanna play a carefull game? Play dungeon, fraction with even better late game and even less but way more powefull units.

2. Skillwheel changed. (Frax, Soon)

- no more grinding certain abilities you have more control over what you take!

-Return of Ultimates! Around level 25 you are able to pick an ultimate for yourself. Keep in mind everyone have it!

3. Difficulty increase!

While i overhauled units, neutrals also got buffed. That means that every sweet interaction and mechanic you have, your enemies also possess! Hold yourself from picking highest difficulties on your first games, it will ruin the fun. Use heroes 5.5 mapmixer if you feel you cant play with so many neutral units.

4. Heroes Passives change. (Frax, Soon)

5. Few more artifacts. (Frax, Soon)

My future plans are from first to last

1. Adding new heroes and changing remaining ones

2. Changing skills.

3. Changing artifacts.

4. Adding new Abilities.

So my mod will go further and further from Frax, this mod is very good, yet i have my own vision of heroes 5. Any feedback is welcome, no matter if positive or negative. Yet if you want to discuss further, visit heroes 5.5 discord server and go to ultimate heroes channel.

Are you going to rebalance the algorithm which gives the AI the more units out of thin air the longer it takes for you to get there? AI does not play Heroes 5. It just gets units automatically which is the worst scam in Heroes history. By week three all AI players and monsters will accumulate hundreds of units of each type. The difficulty over monsters breaks down and says "low" which is based on the AI and general rising difficulty even though all of my four dragons and 20 unicorns are losing. The map Battle for Androna has enough space to develop so made lvl 26 druid with spell power 30. Now the mines have monsters worth of 30000 xp, which provides only one more level to the hero. The stacks kill all the low level units. The game in general is impossible with units so I managed with just high lvl magic and no units. Also the spell Celestial Shield required lvl 60 spell power in order to grant immortality. The strongers heros are all AI and my hero would lose to them. I have no units to spare. And this on the normal difficulty

Hello, sorry for late answer, i usually respond in 5.5 discord. I do not intend to change that, and if i ever will it won't happen soon. From my experience AI is bad only on high levels and small maps because of the fact you have no units to fight this army. On the other hand at bigger maps player can outscale the AI by proper managment. But UH offers more strategical gameplay, so you may find this problem fixed for you. I will upload new version in few days. For now to install the mod you simply install and unpack in data, but make a copy of data.pak and texts.pak you have already in your data folder in case you would like to uninstall the mod. In new update no copy is required as there will be only 1 file you can delete whenever you want.
