This version includes multiple fixes including a bug with the melee weapon itself. And a new feature, uppercuts and comboes.
Detailed Changes are as follow
- The Pit now features spikes, some brushes, some models, they are crude but get the message across.
- You can now fight at TIP EHT FO MOTTOB. Can't get back up again unless you die/are killed.
- Uppercuts can be performed by crouching and punching like in MK, however, you can't perform them as often as just punching.
- Comboes will be perfomed automatically, every 4 or so hits, a big and slow hit will push the enemy back, ending the combo.
- Now each character has a working "viewmodel" skin. This is a bug that has been dragged and have been trying to fix for a long time. In earlier versions I ended up using separate models.
- There *might* be small issues with the hud, specially when dying although I believe this happens due to the large number of sprites and the order in which they are being drawn. Sometimes the whole sprite appears in the kill feed, sometimes it doesn't.
- Changing character should update the team you are on in the Scoreboard, sometimes it bugs out, it's not gamebreaking, just visually annoying not seeing who is in which team. (This gets fixed by changing class or switching teams)
It's verry broken. I can't play it on the 25th anniversary update nor the one prior to that. It gives some wierd error and shortly after starting.
I'll check and update it accordingly.
Make sure to try it using XASH3D if it gives you any kind of errors.
I just checkd, it is a memory allocation problem with the half life engine. Version 0.3 works fine, but 0.4 doesn't. I'll try to fix it in the next patch but I won't promise anything.
Steam is not the version of Half Life I'm aiming at, I'm coding it with Xash3d Engine in mind, if it works in Steam or 25th Anniversary it's a secondary goal.
