Looks great!
It was actually meant for Super7700 because we were discussing elephants for Kings & Conquerors. The units are being paraded, because we need to know the right size for all elephant attendants.
Oh yeah, that reminds me. I have a complaint about Japanese suicide soldiers... Japan has never used carried shields in combat, it's historically incorrect for them to be carrying them.
Really cool monks though.
It is hard because we can't really insert variations everywhere. Had I things my way, perhaps I should've excluded the suicide soldiers but as you know, this is Rise of Nations and we are forced to do all sorts of things. I would have extended Rise of Kings to cover not just Europe and Asia but Africa and America too and Byzantine patriots would look very different compared to their Western counterparts. Sadly, resources are limited. Even NiKox is overextending himself while Super7700 is still scratching his head over Kings & Conquerors because he wants each faction to have their own ethnic names even though we could've just had "archers", "spearmen", "tribal levy", "chariots", etc.
Chinese didn't too. They use bamboo or wooden spear mostly.
I might do something about that, but not sure how to go about it .... but for now, we can say that the Suicide Soldiers are eventually removed from the game for Japan and replaced with the Naginata Ashigaru.

How this units walks in this form??
You arrange them in formation first, first by using mousewheel.
Then you click on the map and if the terrain is flat and open enough they walk in formation.
