The Last Lancer is an alternate history mod loosely based on "The Peshawar Lancers" by S. M. Stirling. The point of divergence occurred in 1878, when the earth was struck by a devastating meteor shower, causing a mini-ice age and leaving most of Europe and North America nearly inhospitable.
